A pretty decent W/Mo build for farming griffons(takes about 1 minute to kill a mob)
Devourers aren't a real problem with this build since the skills that you will use in the field require a second at the most to cast (they can still interrupt if they pull off a well-timed shot, though). Let the minotaurs/griffons swarm you.
This is only a slight modification to the original staple build, but here goes:
Attributes:
Healing: 10
Smiting Prayers: 12
Strength: 3 (No real use)
Tactics: 9 (8+1)
Skills:
Mending
Live Vicariously
Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Vigorous Spirit
Healing Breeze
Zealot's Fire
Shield of Judgement {E}
This build is meant for medium-sized to large mobs of griffons/minotaurs.
Strategy
Cast Mending and then Live Vicariously at the start. As soon as you are surrounded by a decent sized mob, use cyclone axe and bonetti's to refill your energy. Cast Vigorous Spirit and healing breeze. Use cyclone axe+Bonetti's again to refill your health and energy, then cast Zealots Fire. Cast Shield of Judgement. While SoJ is in effect, spam cyclone axe+bonetti's+vigorous spirit every three seconds or so to make good use of ZF, but don't spam it too fast or they will run away. You can kill a pretty big mob in about a minute (give or take a few seconds) if you do this correctly.

that sounds like a pretty good build, i like to do UW now but i hear doing griffons in groups of 3 isnt too bad. ya that update got me kinda mad for a while, but i suppose UW gives u great money and is much more fun, if u have the time i think u should try to go in a trapper group or spite group.

Is it only Vigorous Spirit that sets off Zealot's Fire?

I'm not sure that Zealot's is the staple damage dealer. For me, it doesn't actually matter how much time it takes, as long as I stay alive.

Gladiator's Defense doesn't set off the improved AoE AI the last time I used it.

Well...
SoJ actually Does the brunt of the damage, Zealot's Fire just speeds up the killing process while SoJ is recharging.
